We were there because it was the end of a tour so we h... read more The Bellagio is one of the major hotels on the Strip. People either love or hate Las Vegas and the glitz. We were there because it was the end of a tour so we had to make the most of it. The very good things were the famous fountains (we had a fountain view room); the excellent breakfast buffet and dinner buffet with very a wide choice.. Rather irritatingly there was NO coffee machine the only hotel in 5 weeks of travel in the USA and Canada. The excuse given that coffee was readily available down stairs quite some way and time from the room. Real reason is pure greed. And don’t dare put anything in the mini bar fridge as it will be thrown away by the cleaning staff. In my opinion these silly matters detract from an otherwise top class hotel. Of course, as in all these hotels you have to run the gauntlet of gaming machines and the off smoker so be aware! Worth mentioning on the positive side is the outstanding nightly performance of the Cirque de Soleil. Well worth attending.

J'ai commandé un plat du jour qui était une assiette de charcuterie en entrée et en plat de frites maison avec filet de poulet à la sauce forestière. Ce fut un vrai délice, bonne présentation et le plat tres consistant. Mon mari a mangé une pizza qui était délicieuse et très bien présenté aussi. Je n'ai pas mis 5 étoiles car il y avait un peu trop de bruit et les vitre étaient un peu sales. Je recommande vivement cet endroit

We waited 2 hours to receive our dishes, which is completely unacceptable. We arrived at 7:30 p.m. (opening time . Additionally, other customers who arrived after us were served before. We ordered simple dishes, 2 dishes, chicken with fries, 1 chicken rice dish and two pizzas, including one to take away. There was also an error on the order (but it happens . The tasteless sauce including lumps of flour. It took 2 hours for it to come out. 2 hours!! Despite the excessive wait, there was no apology from the restaurant manager; it was employees who apologized in his place. He offered me my pizza and told me that since Wednesday he has been in difficulty and that he is not responsible for the things that are happening in France (the connection with the wait and the service??!! Sir, I would like to tell you that if you are not up to the task of providing customers with a good experience and above all providing a suitable service, do not open! Worse still, when paying, we were charged an additional €32! I did well to ask for the invoice. I would like to point out the bad faith of the manager. I also want to congratulate the young people who work for him because they are the only ones to have apologized. He only said that he did what he could and found excuses due to bad weather (but in this case don't open!! and above all that doesn't explain the wait and the fact that the others were served before us. In short, this experience was one of the worst I've had in a restaurant, and I absolutely do not recommend this establishment. To flee !!!
