We had a relaxing and much-needed getaway, and The George exceeded our expectations on every level. It's a wonderful venue with stunning views of the harbor and sea. I highly recommend room 1. The portions are generous and the prices are fantastic! The food is excellent, with a wide variety of choices for dinner, breakfast, and the incredible Sunday carvery. The staff are friendly, cheerful, and very welcoming, just like Lenny, the lovely resident dog who welcomes plenty of affection. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back. I visited the George for the first time in 5-6 years, and the experience was fantastic. The food was excellent, especially the bass, which was a delightful dish. The background music was enjoyable, and the staff were very professional. I will definitely be returning!
