A long standing business in the town for a good reason. Homemade everything. My husband stops in every Friday to buy treats for his co-workers. They all enjoy them
Yummy cookies and much more. Pies, cakes, squares, pizza base everything connected to baking. Enjoy,
We all way get the brown bread when we're stop by, it freshly cooked that day, just like home. The down fall it pricey large double loaf is over $5 and a small loaf is over $4, this is not a restraunt, but a bakery, all takeout.
I had high hopes for this bakery, as they had many products on display. I purchased a cranberry orange scone, which was not fresh and seemed to be at least 2 days old. The peanut butter cookies were okay, but it depends on personal preference for the type of PB cookie you like. The place was tasty overall, and the whole wheat burger rolls were very good. We would rate this bakery 3 out of 5. It's possible that the holiday scone was mistakenly not removed when new products were put out, as this bakery is quite popular. We should have asked when the items were baked, as the staff would have likely been able to tell us. Taste preferences vary, so there are lovers of both crispy and chewy peanut butter cookies.
