The service was engaging and fun.... read more A Monday evening retirement dinner for about 30 people was a fantastic evening. The food was exceptional. Very hot and tasty. The service was engaging and fun. The waitress was our lone server and had personality plus. She had us all laughing on multiple occasions. The owner of the restaurant even stopped in for a bit of time with the retiree. We had a room off to the side separate from the main restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant.

It was bigger and had more than one seating area, which allowed it to be a bit more private. We were there to celebrate a birthday and I was really impressed by the variety of options. You could get an entree, side dish and a drink. There was a good variety of salad dressings, including Catalina The food was very good and, although our server had a party of 12 in the other section, we did not have to wait very long for our order. There was a supper buffet and my dining partner was quite pleased with the choices. I could see that they were salads, pizzas and spaghetti, as well as one or more dessert pizzas. There may have been more items. I can see us returning when we are in the area again.

Despite the name suggesting otherwise, it's not the pizza that keeps me coming back, but rather the mouth-watering garlic fingers and delectable donair sauce that accompany them. Having visited numerous places throughout Canada and beyond, I have yet to find anything that even comes close to the deliciousness of Pizza Delight's garlic fingers. While their pizzas are also top-notch, it's the award-winning garlic fingers that truly steal the show for me. Living in Vancouver, I always make it a point to visit Pizza Delight whenever I find myself back in the east - it's a must-visit for me.

Despite driving ove... read more Pizza Delight has always been my go-to pizza restaurant for dining in. I live in Halifax and I knew I wanted to celebrate my birthday at PD. Despite driving over an hour to get there, I was not disappointed. Even though there was a mix-up with my order, our server Carolyn was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere at Pizza Delight is cozy and inviting.
