Located in the heart of Bridgewater, this charming bakery and cafe is a hidden gem. Serving up delectable pastries and cookies that are made fresh daily on the premises, this spot is a must-visit for any food lover. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. While the regulars can't stop raving about the coffee, I personally prefer their refreshing lemonade, served in charming old-fashioned glasses. The breakfast items are expertly prepared and offer a wide variety of options for every taste.
Looking for breakfast we found a delight. We absolutely loved this place. My husband had a breakfast sandwich and I had the chikd’s waffle. Both were delicious. His sandwich was on a scone with egg, sausage, and sprouts. The waffle was two pieces, buttered, and...with maple syrup garnished with blueberries, apple slices, orange, cucumber, and kiwi!
The breakfast at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! They offer locally made gluten-free buns that can be used for breakfast sandwiches, regular sandwiches, or even as toast. They also have gluten-free buckwheat waffles and a variety of dessert treats such as brownies and cookies. I was impressed that they specifically asked if I was celiac, as it shows they have enhanced protocols for accommodating dietary restrictions.
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! They offer a wide variety of gluten-free options, many of which can also be made dairy-free or vegan. Their bread products come from School House Bakery, a local facility dedicated to gluten-free baking. We even took some frozen donuts to go! While the gluten-free buns aren't dairy-free, they do have a flatbread alternative that is. We dined here twice and experienced no adverse reactions. I highly recommend it!
