Don't lie! I had a great experience for my first meal here. The place is clean! The ambience is quiet and tasteful! The seats are comfortable and the design is modern. It was a busy day, but in the midst of all the mess all the employees! Was enthusiastic and helpful, and they had a smile on their faces and was attentive! We were probably checked like 2-3 times by our waitress and other staff who kept a close look at each table. The food was exquisite! It is better than any Asian restaurant I tasted in a very long time. Your menu is very diverse possibilities. We had the SHUMAI for appetizers it was cheap at $4.99 for 6 pieces, they were absolutely delicious!!! For entree: My friend he had Singapore Noodle $9.99 she said it was amazing! I had the BBQ Roast Duck $10.75 I replaced the white rice for veggie roasted rice!!! You didn't even charge me for getting roasted rice, instead of knowing what most restaurants are doing! I thought that was really elegant!!!! My duck has been cooked to perfection and sturdy in flavors! You also have bubble tea 's I had a Thai iced tea very delicious! Overall my guest experience was remarkable there! And I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and def. will be back when I shop in the mall! FYI: The restaurant is actually in the village! Near Shake-Hack NOT the actual frequent mall, somehow Bridgewater Mall website it has close to Macy's Level 2 IS NOT THERE!!
I saw the negative reviews, so I was careful about the service. Came and was met with good service and friendly staff. Food was ok: beef noodles stew was a bit too salty, but the meat was well baked and the noodles were properly cooked. Scallion pancakes were simple and good. XLB or soup dumplings (here called juicy dumplings) were small and had not really much soup. The skin was also a bit thick. Pan roasted pig beans were small, didn't stand out too much. Surprising bonus was the tea! Very aromatic and beats the socks from the diluted jasmine tea to get you at local dim centers. If I were to be hard, I would say that this is just a reminder of food from the Yongkang St in Taipei I heard. If I were to be prosperous, I would say that this is a decent stand for Taiwanese cuisine, especially if you are not in the mood to drive 30min to Edison. Try the braided pig bells over rice next time and update the review.
It was a perfect meal on a cold and rainy. Had the Fire Island rolling and then the Pork Ramen soup. Both were excellent.
