They specialize in Hunan cuisine and this restaurant is now added to our list of different types of Chinese cuisine to order from in the neighborhood. From the outside this place is not outstanding. The inside is old and tired which is why I deduct a star. Food alone is 5 star. The mutton, tangerine beef, fish, fried rice and string beans were the best we’ve ever had. If you want authentic, this is the place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30
I highly recommend trying the Chicken on Sizzling Hot Plate (铁板鸡). It’s a delicious dish that truly stands out!
My Chinese girlfriend wanted to visit this restaurant because it had received positive reviews, but she wasn't impressed and said she wouldn't return. I found the food to be decent, but the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. Overall, I would rate the food as a 3, the service as a 3, and the ambiance as a 2.
