What Natalie H doesn't like about Pj's Deli, Catering Bakery:
We ordered the seafood combo. The fish was good but I liked the coleslaw the best. I didn't love the crab cake or the scallops. They weren't fresh made like I had expected. View all feedback.
Let's see, we've tried several items from the bakery selection, including cookies and brownies, which are fantastic and make a perfect ending to lunch at PJ's or a great treat to take home. We’ve also sampled a variety of their sandwiches, including the triple-deckers, roast beef, and turkey. Make sure to get them with all the toppings; they’re a meal on their own. Additionally, PJ's features a different lunch special every day. Just say, "I'll have the special," and you can't go wrong. This week, we enjoyed the Polish Plate, which was delicious. Just a heads up: we arrived a little after 1 PM and soon found they had run out of the lunch special. If you can’t find something to love here, that’s on you. Keep in mind that on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, they only accept cash or checks. Make sure to stop by and enjoy!
I absolutely adore this restaurant! They offer fantastic sandwiches and soups. I also love the frozen entrée options available for quick meals at home; everything is homemade and they freeze exceptionally well, especially the chicken casserole. If you haven't visited yet, you're truly missing out. The staff is incredibly friendly as well!
I live nearby and had never visited this restaurant before. I came across a Facebook post about their nut rolls for Thanksgiving, and since I didn’t want to drive all the way to Millvale for the French bakery, I decided to try this local spot instead. The nut roll was $20 and was nicely packaged in a plastic container. I brought it to my parents’ house for Thanksgiving, and it received pretty good reviews. It was filled with nuts, and the dough was soft. My aunt suggested it could use more sugar, but I personally didn’t think that was necessary. Overall, it was a very nice baked good for the price. I’ll definitely return one day to try some of their other offerings.
Absolutely fantastic, home cooked food, fresh baked goods, great portions, so happy I found PJ's
Nice staff, good food, reasonable pricing. We will be stopping back.
