Edit: PLEASE CLEAN THE BLACK CHUNKS OFF YOUR GRILL!! The experience was inconsistent. I found greasy black bits in the cheese quesadilla and chicken this time. While they offered to make a new one, there was no option for a refund. However, I'm really glad we decided to try this place! We ordered takeout — spaghetti and meatballs. It came with three medium-sized homemade meatballs, a generous portion of pasta, fantastic seeded bread, a refreshing side salad, and even a dessert! What more could you want? It was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture! We also sampled the chicken quesadilla and the Italian chicken sandwich. Finally, there's a restaurant in town that is consistent and knows what it's doing! You really do get what you pay for! This has become my new favorite place! Thank you!
The restaurant features a salad bar and a dessert bar. It's a lovely place, and I will definitely return.
I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely The Towne is. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu!
We only had cocktails during our first visit, but the atmosphere was delightful, and the staff was cheerful and energetic. Update: We returned for a late lunch/early dinner and were impressed! The red clam chowder was outstanding—an interesting blend of Manhattan and Rhode Island styles. The clams casino and stuffed mushrooms, packed with crabmeat, were excellent. There’s also a small salad bar featuring bread and a selection of desserts. For our main course, we ordered a seafood pot served with garlic linguine. The dish was full of seafood, though the lobster tail was a bit overcooked. Still, the flavor was fantastic. We definitely plan to come back!
