The restaurant offers delicious food, with a welcoming staff and atmosphere. It's a charming spot to enjoy a meal along with a refreshing cold beer.
We visited the restaurant on a Sunday night and found that it was not very busy. Initially, the staff was friendly, but they ended up ignoring our table. The waitress took our food order but never returned to check on us. Someone else brought our food and we had to ask for condiments. It seemed like they prioritized the locals over other customers. The staff was not very friendly towards us afterwards. Due to the subpar treatment from the staff, we probably won't be returning to this restaurant.
This restaurant is a hidden gem! It is a small bar in a quaint city where a local patron saw my brother and me at the bar and kindly brought us water. We later found out she was not an employee, but her hospitality was truly representative of Montana. Despite trying to order a steak, she kindly informed us that the bar did not serve steaks but recommended a delicious meal instead. The under $20 steak we ordered was surprisingly delicious and just as good as some $70 steaks we've had elsewhere. I would definitely make the 25-minute drive again if I ever crave a big steak.
