Ordering food from Panera Bread is extremely frustrating. I used to work at the mall nearby and would often place orders ahead of time to make sure I had enough time to eat. When ordering through DoorDash, the estimated delivery time was around 30 minutes, but it almost always took at least an extra 30 minutes beyond that to receive my food. On multiple occasions, my order was completely lost, and I had to prove my purchase to get any resolution. After waiting the initial 30 minutes, if I waited an additional 20 minutes and asked about my order, I was frequently told it was still on the waitlist. The food is good, but the difficulty in actually getting it is just unbelievable.
There was a clear disregard for any modifications, even the ones I paid for. Half of my sandwich was inexplicably made completely wrong. I experienced an unreasonably long wait despite there being very few orders ahead. Even the pickle was disappointing—unusually chewy. If any staff are reading this, please consider getting the girl working in dining a cordless vacuum—sweeping carpet is no easy task. Service: Dine-in.
