We had the fried catfish, caught locally in the Finger Lakes, and it was absolutely delicious. The shrimp were some of the best I've ever had as well. The fried haddock dinner was also excellent, especially with the amazing coleslaw. The owners were tending the bar where we sat, and they were very friendly and welcoming. What User doesn't like about Fisher Bay:
I will never visit this restaurant again! It was a waste of money and the staff and management were very rude and disrespectful. I will not be dining here or attending any future fishing tournaments. The owner, an older gentleman, and his wife are known to be heavy drinkers. I would not recommend starting your dining experience here if you are looking for a great or even decent meal. First let me tell you this is a great spot. My friends and I are in town for a weekend getaway and this place did not let us down. Want wings? The mild/medium garlic wings (HOMEMADE SAUCE) are KILLER. We're from Buffalo, NY and we put them up against some of the famous wings in our city. Pound of perch, I HATE fish... But the stuff they had was DELICIOUS. These guys know their stuff. I am SO thrilled we decided to come in and enjoy some drinks and food. Ambiance is mom and pop little hideaway. Just the kind of style like and look for. If you're in town ice fishing or just driving through, PLEASE stop in and check this place out. They will not let you down.

Had locally caught (fingerlakes) fried perch and it was out of this world, along with shrimp that was some of the best I’ve ever had. The fried haddock dinner was great as well, with phenomenal coleslaw to go along with it. The owners were tending the bar which is where we sat, and they were very welcoming and cordial. Food was good and plentiful. Waitstaff was friendly. Chef came by several times including bringing us a sample of an item we weren't sure about.
