The waitresses often walked past us without acknowledging us,... read more Our experience at Azteca was disappointing. The service was just passable, slightly above average. The waitresses often walked past us without acknowledging us, and we had to search for someone when it was time to pay. The biggest letdown was the quality of the food and drinks. We do not recommend ordering the $20 guacamole Yucatan. The picture on the menu looks tempting, but the actual dish was quite different, with only about four or five small pieces of steak. The mojitos were questionable, and we couldn't identify the ingredients. Although the manager initially offered to remove one drink from the bill, he hesitated when reminded. The Steak Fajitas were also underwhelming, lacking flavor. Overall, Azteca is not worth the price, and we left feeling very disappointed.

A restaurant shouldn't just toss together meats without any consideration for taste. With so much competition, particularly in the Mexican food scene, the dishes need to be outstanding. I also find it frustrating to be served tiny portions of food in my tacos. When the meat is chopped so finely that it loses its texture and flavor, it's just not appealing. This isn't just a problem at Azteca; many food trucks follow this same trend. Ultimately, if I can't find Mexican food that's better than Taco Bell's, I won't be returning. My advice to David is to spice things up and create dishes that customers will crave. Repeat business is crucial for any establishment.
