While staying at a local hotel, we decided to try out this Chinese restaurant after searching for a local take-away spot online. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there was a rule of only one customer at a time and hand sanitizer was provided. The lady at the front was very polite and helpful. We placed our order and waited around 10 to 15 minutes for our food to be ready. We ordered a variety of dishes and all of them were amazing - hot and well-packaged. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. The only downside was that the curry sauce was a bit too sweet for our taste, but that could have been because we ordered the wrong thing. The chicken was all tender white breast meat and the prawn toast was delicious. They even gave us complimentary prawn crackers. We would definitely come back if we were in Wales again.

I used to rely on this Chinese takeaway in Bridgend for my meals, but I must say that the current chef needs to reconsider their cooking style. The excessive salt is ruining the dishes and the lack of flavor is a turn-off. Good cooking should make you want to keep eating, but sadly that's not the case here. This is the third time I've had to throw away a meal from this restaurant, which is disappointing considering how much I used to enjoy their cuisine.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. As a vegetarian, it can be difficult to find good Chinese food, but it's not a problem here as they offer vegetarian options for all the meat dishes on the menu. I've tried many Chinese restaurants in Bridgend, but this one is definitely the best. The food is always fresh and hot when it arrives. I highly recommend trying the chilli chips and Thai green curry.

Absolutely disgusting customer service..been going here for a while..owner hung up on me 3 times.. got our order wrong said they would refund me on our next order..went to make a order and got refused..owner of the takeaway shouting at me and was saying I was in the wrong.. will never be spending another penny at jades Chinese takeaway Bridgend..
