The lively atmosphere and good service seem to be consistent positives, even if the overall quality can be hit or miss. Despite some being unimpressed with the food, the impressive service and atmosphere seem to make it a popular spot for lunch or dinner among patrons.
The food is amazing and the atmosphere is fantastic! I visited once and now I find myself returning almost every week.
The Monday night special is great. You pay your bill with cash and get your food 1/2 off. Great deal. Their Chicken Pot pie and Shepherd pie is very good. If you like it spicy the Chicken Murphy has a kick. Fun bar.

PJ Sweeney 's has delicious food with large portions for the main entree. Salad did not come with any of the three entrees we ordered...seems like it is extra $s if you want a salad. We choose to get one appetizer (mozz. sticks) and two desserts. So we were full but the dinner check was big . The atmosphere was lively and the service was good.
The food was very good, but the service was a disaster.
