If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The unprofessional behavior displayed by the manager is simply unacceptable. Every table around us overheard his comments and was appalled by his rudeness. No manager should ever treat children or customers this way, regardless of their personal beliefs. He never apologized and instead made excuses and continued to be disrespectful. It’s shocking that a restaurant would employ someone in a management position who behaves like this. The servers even agreed with us, mentioning that they often heard the manager express his dislike for children. He needs to remember that, as someone working in customer service, he should treat everyone with respect and courtesy.
I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation. It’s easy to get to, and the staff are friendly. However, the interior feels a bit shabby, and the obstructed water views make it less appealing. The decor needs significant improvement as it feels quite outdated. On a positive note, the food was good, and the wine portions were generous, which is more in line with what you expect for the price.
Went once on a recommendation. Easy to get to, friendly staff, Choppie interior and blocked water views take away the view from dining at the bar. Could do a lot to improve the interior. Seemed very dated. Food was good and wine portions were generous and more in keeping with what you would hope to get for the cost.
It was my daughter's birthday, I called around noon on Saturday to make reservations for 6 people for that evening, they wouldn't take a reservation for a party of less than 8 people, the only option given was to come 1 hour prior to eating and leave your name and wait, So We did. it was around 7:00 pm, after 1 hour of waiting, I asked the hostess for an update, she was pleasant, about 20 more minutes she said. After almost a 2 hour wait and was about ready to leave frustrated, our table was ready. The place is more of a sports bar with a lot of TV's. The waiter was nice and pleasant, we placed our drink order and calamari for an appetizer, drinks came out within 7 minutes, the appetizer took about 15 minutes, and that's when we placed our dinner order, the calamari was crispy on the outside, a bit chewy on the inside. The food in general was tasty, I had salmon with quinoa and spinach, the rest of the meals were tasty according to the rest of the party. They also had a DJ that Saturday. We'll probably visit again.
