this was our second visit because our first visit was amazing. we were not disappointed this time. food quality and preparation is very wonderful. the atmosphere is quite good for a golf course, but not what they hope when they celebrate an jubilee as we were. but eating brings us back. Occasion Birthday- service 3/5. Had to go find someone to task the table’s order- awhile before checked on to see if table needed anything more

Dining at this restaurant presents a varied experience, leaving guests with contrasting impressions. While some patrons sing praises for the delightful food, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere, others recount frustratingly long waits, underwhelming dishes, and subpar cleanliness. Highlights include delicious appetizers like bacon-wrapped shrimp and perfectly cooked prime rib, while disappointments center around lackluster salads and portion sizes. Overall, the ambiance is appreciated, but inconsistent service and food quality may deter regular visits. For those seeking a pleasant dining experience, it remains to be seen whether the restaurant can strike a balance that satisfies all diners.

One of the worst experiences ever. My son bought me a round for a retirement present and so we came here with our wives looking forward to an experience that matches the price. We waited over 5 minutes on EVERY hole due to slow play ahead of us. On the 9th hole we informed the marshall and he couldn 't give a sh . So, we waited on every shot and finished in over 5 hours.....and this was on a Monday in October. Then, it got worse. We had reservations for dinner at the restaurant for 6:45pm. We were seated, and it was so loud, you couldn 't hear the person next to you speak. We asked to be moved outside so they said yes. We were seated outside and waited 20 minutes just to place our order. We then waited 45 more minutes and finally asked for the food to go. We took the food back to our room and found that my wife 's garden burger was beef with bacon. So, I had to walk all the way back up to the restaurant to replace it. The bartender didn 't want to hear any complait from me and rudely pointed to the entrance and said you can fill our a comment card . For the 4 of us, this was a $1200, one day vacation and I felt like we just played the local muni with people that don 't care about your experience, just rake in the money. The best service we got was from the front desk guy at the Inn and the kid that cleaned our clubs. Take a lesson from them. Ownership should be ashamed.

It was one of those idyllic days on the golf course that truly takes your breath away. There were twelve of us, and everyone enjoyed every moment. Things only got better as we all played together in a single group on the par three course.

On Day 1, we encountered a significant issue with the pace of play. There was a foursome two groups ahead of us that seemed to be trying to qualify for the Asian Open, moving unbearably slowly. The entire course was backed up, and there were at least three holes open in front of them. We and several others contacted the clubhouse multiple times but received no assistance. It took us an excruciating 5.5 hours to complete 18 holes – a very disappointing experience on many levels. On Day 2, we were met with another setback: there were no golf balls available at the range. We alerted multiple employees, who assured us they would address the issue, but ultimately, nothing was resolved. This facility truly has the potential to be one of the best golf venues anywhere, and after driving six hours and spending a substantial amount of money for the weekend, leaving with such a negative experience was very disheartening. And yes, I didn’t play well either, but that wasn’t the main issue.

$300 is quite pricey for a single round of golf in a remote location. However, the course itself is fantastic—possibly the most unique in the state! The real value lies in the stay-and-play packages. Personally, I'm not a fan of playing the same course on consecutive days, but that's just my preference. I'm excited for them to open the second 18 holes! I’ll definitely return to play once the new course is up and running. I read that it's expected to open in the summer of 2025; realistically, I’m thinking more like 2026. For now, the stay-and-play deals at Desert Canyon and Bear Mountain make more sense.

Wow, what a great course! Brilliant golf course architecture. Extremely playable! Staff was top notch. Short course was a ton of fun too. Will be back and highly recommend!

Wow! Just wow!The view from the patio is amazing. I recommend getting there for sunset, but bring sunglasses. (And a camera)The service is great. Our waitress was attentive, patient, and kind. She did a great job taking care of our table. Great sense of humor too.Food: you have to get the tatertot appetizer!! Just go for it! It is enough for 4 people to eat as a meal, so if you order salads and the tott thing you will be all set.The meals we had were delicious. The portions are big so you may want to consider splitting if you dont have a huge appetite. All in all, this place is a must visit if you are in Brewster.

Gamble Sands was fantastic! We went during Memorial Day weekend and played the main course twice and the par 3 course once. The main course is very forgiving with wide fairways and large greens. The staff was very friendly and one of the staff members even went out of her way to bake us some fresh cookies and deliver them on the putting green. Can’t wait to go back someday.

Amazing golf course hidden in WA. Amazing staff that go above and beyond (that you to the night desk clerk-I’m horrible at names-her name started with an S she was so friendly and kind). My husband said the course is amazing and the greens are not overcrowded. The pictures speak for themselves it’s such a cool location for a course! If you are looking for a hidden gem this is it! Totally worth the drive!

A little pricey, but worth it at least once. I think I paid like $300 for a weekend round in early May. The starter recommended buying the course guide booklet and he was spot on. Saved me 5 strokes easy. Beautiful fairways and greens with so much scenic vistas from the tee boxes. And pace of play was excellent. I'd love to play it again, just maybe at the twilight rate.
