The menu needs work. There need to be more selections. The new igloos are great. The one we were in did not have a table-coffee cubes were provided. We noticed that some igloos had tables which would be an improvement. Having said the above the IGLOOS ARE GREAT. Keep it up. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Igloos At Ocean Edge Resort:
The igloos were quite busy during our visit, and unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience this time. The waiter was good, but it was clear he had to manage several igloos at once, which resulted in a longer wait than usual. I left feeling unimpressed. The tacos were particularly disappointing—bland and lacking any sauce. View all feedback.
It was colder than we expected, but the service was excellent and the food was good.
Gus was amazing! eating was solid, igloo was cool but server gus was just the bomb! go and enjoy!
This was our third time having the igloo experience since they started the igloos in 2020. It was nice to see that there were a few updated igloos. The service was excellent. The food was quite good with just one item that came out sub par but overall good. The drinks and the atmosphere are fun! It is the experience that you are overpaying for. The only complaint is that the igloos are SOO cold inside. The little heater they have in them did not at all provide any heat. Our hands and noses were chilled. This is the same complaint since 2020. They need better heaters! Definitely dress warmly.
We were in the older model of the igloos. It wasn’t strapped down at the bottom and the cold air was blowing in. There was a small cube heater (4inches by 4inches) to heat all people but it wasn’t nearly enough unfortunately. We were pretty cold. Apparently for the more enclosed newer models you would have to request those. Also when ordering the warmer drinks, they arrived cold. No microwave on site so couldn’t warm it up. Overall the idea was really cool and waitstaff was excellent. Just was hard to enjoy with it being so cold. Also would be nice to have some sort of background music as there wasn’t any.
This was our third visit and the first one this season. Sadly compared to our first two times, this time it just wasn’t as enjoyable. The Raw Bar appetizer came with a small lobster tail in its shell and was difficult to eat. The oysters were okay. The clam chowder was very delicious but quite a small portion. We also ordered the crab dip which was forgettable. The deserts were quite large and filled us up, however please bring back the S’mores desert from last year. We enjoyed the drinks although the Jack Frost was also different from last year. Overall a bit disappointing given our prior experience.
