From the moment you arrive, you feel like part of the family. While we were deciding what to order, we noticed the staff calling out names and asking regulars about their lives, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's clear that many guests come back time and again. The food was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. When we visit Kakaostrand again, we will definitely return. View all feedback.

I noticed that the cooks were not wearing gloves, which is acceptable to some extent, but it raised a food safety concern when they touched raw eggs and didn’t wash their hands afterward. I could see everything because the doors were open, and I never saw anyone wash their hands, which is particularly important after handling raw eggs and before touching ready-to-eat food. This place is fantastic! The staff and owners are incredibly kind and friendly. I definitely recommend this diner above all others in the area. Sam is awesome!

Place was busy and the service was still fantastic. The food was perfect and delicious and the price was surprisingly not that bad. Portion sizes are excellent. Got the Pancake breakfast, was absolutely fantastic.
I couldn't be more pleased with the incredibly engaging and friendly service! We adore the patriotic-themed decor and their commitment to honoring veterans and first responders. The chefs prepared our meals fresh to order, and everything was served perfectly. Additionally, the prices are just right—very affordable! I highly recommend this wonderful place for breakfast or lunch. I can't wait for our next visit!
