Don't let the laminated placemats deter you the food was worth the visit. Simple, generous portions and tasty food. We stopped in for a lunch in Brest as well as avoiding the rain, we had a delicious meal with local rosé to wash it down, and the BEST sauce béarnaise we have had in France in over a year. Great service and a winner with the locals as well. View all feedback.
What Caio Caruso doesn't like about Les caudalies:
View all feedback.
If you're looking for home-cooked food in an informal atmosphere, this is the place. The menu changes based on what the chef comes up with, but there's always something good. The portions are huge, so be prepared to eat a lot. Service is nice and the restaurant is cozy.
If ever there was a simplier review to write, i don 't know what it could possibly be. I went there after researching w trusty ol ' Trip Advisor mainly because of the reviews on the mussels. To my great, but only momentary disappointment, they werent being offered this day. I opted for the white fish w veggies and salad and mash potatoes. OUTSTANDING!! Very nice portion w a basket of bread for 10€!! Perfect fish w sauteed peppers was a joy. Fresh green salad and to die for mash potatoes. Iam sure they werent on the health food menu. Then comes desert Floating Islands. Place in mouth and remain perfectly still as they simply disappear!! The best. Add a half litre of red wine and my bill came to 17.50€!! JUST GO EAT HERE!!! '
