Highl... read more During spring I tried this restaurant in one of my trips on Maddalena mount. The cuisine is exquisite, but it won't come cheap: 30€ each without any wine. Highly suggested for its location/food but definitely avoid it if you plan to eat cheap.

Situated on... read more If you want to try some genuine local food in Brescia, without spending too much money with a very good view of the city, this should be your place! Situated on the near mountain Maddalena (15 minutes drive from the city centre), this restaurant will offer you a fresh breeze in a hot summer night and a warm cozy lunch on one of our chilliest days. The view you get from the restaurant is simply beautiful, especially at night when the whole city is lightened up . As for the food you will find here many of the typical Brescia 's dishes, served with attention and quality. The basic ingredients are fresh and delicate. Even if the choice isn 't huge you 'll find genuine options made with quality and precision. In addition to the usual side dish you will also have the possibility to choose between a wide range of vegetables (included in the price) served with a buffet option. Desserts (many and delicious) and fruits (fresh and in large number) are also served in a buffet (included in the price as well). The only flaw I would find in this restaurant the formality (and sometimes unfriendliness) of some of the stuff. As for the rest, if you 're not too pretentious, you won 't be disappointed!

The prosciutto... read more We were taken for dinner by some Italian friends and were very agreeably surprised by the quality of the food, having read some negative reviews. The prosciutto crudo con melone was as good as I've ever eaten. The pasta was very tasty. And the frutti di bosco absolutely delicious. The two waiters who were working that evening were helpful and efficient. The view is, of course, marvellous. I would definitely go back on our next visit to Brescia.
