La Costa Taqueria - Brenwood

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Absolutely RUINED our event! We ordered tacos for a graduation party from college with a guest list of 40 people. The manager understood and was so nice about taking the order.The day of the party everything was picked up we brought it to the house right before the party started and there was hardly any meat in the containers, we got ZERO TORTILLAS (that’s right, tacos without tortillas somehow! the drinks we ordered were to come in canisters and they tried to give us syrup. And no chilies that were supposed to be included. We had to run to the store for meat and tortillas and make them while everyone waited…. Bought canisters and made the drinks.Here’s the clincher, when I called to talk to the manager so nicely about it, I was told he was in Mexico for two weeks and the woman who is the assistant manager didn’t even say “I’m so sorry about that.” Literally zero care that we got no tortillas and that she’d ruined a long planned party that people traveled for. Instead she got defensive and hung up on me while we were talking and told me to call back in two weeks.Don’t get your catering here. We have been regulars here weekly, the food is good when you dine in, but get your catering else where as you’re not going to get what you ask for and there’s not even an apology or sympathy for how they effect your event. Horrible service which obviously stems from poor leadership. We won’t be back even to dine in now.

Food is good, and the place is well kept. The salsas and chiles asados are great.

My favorite place!Edit: The last couple times I've come to your restaurant I've ordered a shrimp taco salad, because I'm pescetarian. Last week you gave me chicken and today you gave me steak. No longer my favorite placeand I am very hesitant to return again especially since I've been visiting on my lunch break and don't have time to drive back and have it fixed. Really F disappointing.

Very good food and good service, all the workers very nice

This place is easily the best Mexican food in Brentwood. I come here all the time and the carne asada burrito for only $10 is a great deal and is so delicious every time. The atmosphere is always pleasant and they play very nice music.
