Food is delish and typically only order from them once a month cause their SO EXPENSIVE. Took 1 star away cause prices. Japchae, 8-piece chick and gyozas be $70. View all feedback.
What Deborah C doesn't like about Bonchon:
While the chicken strips w fantastic and the street corn rocken and the kimchi hit the spot, the coleslaw serving size was so small i couldn't give the 5 stars deserved for all the awesome food. View all feedback.
Delicious! Tastes exactly like how I remember. So happy they finally put one out here in Antioch. Now I can enjoy it again as much as I did when we lived in SSF. I do just wish it wasn't so expensive. That's the only downside about eating bon chon. It gets pricey pretty fast. Especially if you're a family. It was pricey even before inflation.
Usually Bon Chon is great. This food was dry, cold, and tasted/looked like it had been prepared days ago. There was less than a bite of coleslaw (small 2 oz clear disposable dressing size container was maybe 1/4 full tops…so 0.5 oz or less…did someone eat it on the way?
I’m curious if they use an air fryer for their chicken wings— they were so crispy, crunchy, and full of flavor! The soy garlic and spicy sauce were delicious, and the wings were thoroughly cooked, not greasy or soggy like some other fried wings I’ve had from different places. Plus, the kimchi is really authentic!
The food is delicious, but I usually only order from this restaurant about once a month because it's so expensive. I deducted one star due to the high prices. For instance, the japchae, an 8-piece chicken, and gyozas total $70.
The chicken strips were fantastic, the street corn was amazing, and the kimchi was just perfect. However, the serving size of the coleslaw was so small that I couldn't give a full 5 stars for all the incredible food.
