I enjoy bringing kids to this cafe for their delicious ice cream. It 's a nice place overall, but the ordering process could be significantly improved. The ice cream display and the ordering counter are located at different stands, which makes ordering multiple flavors a real hassle. What User doesn't like about Sip And Scoop California:
I give it two stars only because one out of the four flavors we tried was ok . The scoops were small and the tables were dirty. Plus, there were flies everywhere. Your better off going to Cold Stone. We specifically come to this restaurant for their delicious flavored lemonades. It is the best lemonade we have ever had and a must-try if you are in the downtown area!
A third-grade class visited Sip and Scoop after exploring historic Brentwood. The restaurant provided great service, delicious treats, and a fun atmosphere for the students.
Whenever I order ice cream, there always seem to be a few random flavors mixed into my scoop. They also don't wash their scoops.
The ice cream was good, but unfortunately i got the avocado toast with tomatoes and balsamic vinegar, they basically drenched it with balsamic vinegar to the point of it being basically inedible because it was overwhelming.
Sip and Scoop has the BEST ice cream. It is GREAT having an Ice Cream Shop in Clayton.
