I'm a Nashville Native and have never tried McAlister's Deli. I've been there Twice in the past 8 days. I've only been able to try 2 of their sandwiches so far, Roast Beef and Cheddar, and the Grilled Chicken with a Peach Chipotle Spread... Both FANTASTIC! I might go back for Lunch today! Did you know me? That's the second time they didn't **** on my savannah salad. Then when I appealed, they gave me the salad, I got 3 small Nugget pieces. I have ordered this salad as long as I can remember that they have it and NIE experienced something like that before. If you want to skip the chicken, the price should also change. Nice place! We went there in the late afternoon. I ordered the Club sandwich with mac cheese side. (I know but I had to try it. Hubby ordered a Reuben with chips. We each added a pickle spear to our meal and a drink. My sandwich was very good. Honey mustard instead of mayo was pleasant and tasty. Although, for the price which isn't really so bad now days I thought there could have been more meat on it. (Even though I only ate half of it, carried out the other half and ate it later. We spent $25.64. The mac cheese was nothing to write home about but good enough. And wow! Whatever pickles they are serving are delicious! Hubby enjoyed his reuben and chips. No complaints from him. The staff was very friendly, everyone was observing Covid rules staff and customers. The lobby could use a good dusting but the tables were clean.
I am not from this area and was looking for a place for dinner that wasn't fast food. I stumbled upon McAlister's Deli and I am SO HAPPY I DID! I've only had the pleasure of ordering a chipotle chicken bacon spud, cheddar broccoli soup and an iced tea. Everything was delicious. I wish I was staying longer in this area so I could sample more of their menu items. If I'm ever back in this area I will be eating here. I thought the prices were reasonable until I got my food. I think I under paid. Servers were pleasant and food came out fast.
This location makes amazing sandwiches, but management is unprofessional. Was very rude, with professionalism, has not addressed me, and was obviously upset with other workers I guess who did not appear to work. It's not customers' fault they don't show up. I do not understand that enough workers, but to use professionalism and make negative remarks about workers clear?I know that they are not treated fairly because if they were there. And to say, all orders before a customer who went to theirs that they made their order this morning and not addressed to them? only pass and ignore, but another address. It's just rude. I had to ask another employee who called the rude manager and then he had to appeal to me. From now on, I must call to see if this location is in operation before I place an online order or go there. I made my order this morning and until my time for picking up was only treated like that. I also worked in another place and I can see that management is rude in more than one place. I had flashbacks. I understand everywhere is short staff, but the least he could have done was to stay professional and explain the problem instead of going past me Hollering saw customers the sign that they were closed for the rest of the days at 2. If I made my order this morning and it gave me the pick-up time, I have no idea of a question. I had also checked with another worker during the registration so that it is normal to expect food. Ah.
Came at 1:00 and waited like 35 min and none of our order was ready. And they where they let people wait so long that they had to reheat food there.
