Ludlow Prime - Brentwood

Oh wow, I'm surprised to see such a low-star rating (at the time of this review). I've eaten before and it was always good. This time came to lunch and ordered the lobster roll. I usually don't order lobster rolls unless I'm in Maine because I'm always disappointed (also sometimes disappointed in Maine). My favorite is from Red's Eats and this is my gold standard. The role here was amazing. The lobster was delicious, soft and cooked for perfection. The role she was on was also soft and perfectly roasted. I will definitely get another Sunday! Our server was also super sweet and food came out quickly.

The smoked oysters were delicious. My dirty, dirty Martini was perfect. Everything can be darkened so I thought the scalopps were great! My Hubby also loved the cheesecake! Our server, Constance, was very helpful in the selection of wines. We'll be back!

I loved the lighting and ambiance. Drinks and food came really fast. Everyone was friendly. I had the shrimp and grits . It was okay not the best I've had for $26. Not enough Grits and they tasted very grainy and was overwhelmed by the roux . Portions were really small. If i were on a diet they would have been perfect. I wish I had tried the steak. my friends who ordered Steak seemed to be satisfied. However my co worker that also ordered the Shrimp and grits felt the same way. We were still a little hungry afterwards . The deviled eggs were good but you only get 2 eggs and the Brussel sprouts were just a wee bit over cooked more than I would prefer. The small portions and grainy unflavored grits are the only reason I took 1 star away

We came in with a group and despite a low staff level a problem everywhere these days! our server was pleasant and did a great job. Our drinks were well done and the food was delicious. We enjoyed crab cakes and shrimp and more as appetizers followed by some excellent steaks all cooked just as ordered. I had the mashed potatoes, but others were raving over the truffle Mac n cheese. The chocolate lava cakes for dessert were a great finish to the night. Thank You!

Stopped for lunch yesterday and had a pleasant experience. Hope was great and made me good margaritas! I loved the $1 oysters during the Happy Hour. The Brisket Slider was nothing special than good. The crust fish Hush puppies were amazing! The salmon pollinated deviled eggs were recommended for death (strongly). And yes, I have all this for $40. I can't wait to return and try the dinner menu.
