We had a wonderful evening celebrating my birthday with my husband. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. To top it off, they surprised us with a beautiful dessert at the end of our meal to help us celebrate. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Firebirds Wood Fired Grill:
Iâve had better visits. There is a row of booths where people walk on both sides. We sat there. Not great. Lots of foot traffic. The room was almost uncomfortably warm. The service was slow, it took quite a few minutes for our server to come overâ¦.we had to ask someone for our server about 10-15 minutes of being seated. Service remained mediocre. Food was pretty good. I like this place and come here often, but ma... View all feedback.
I absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere here! Everything was delicious and the waitress was so amazing. I wish I remembered her name to give her a shout out. You guys really have amazing staff here. My partner got the Durango burger which was delicious with fries, I got the garlic sirloin steak with a loaded baked potato and I loved it. We shared a crème brûlée cheesecake for dessert. He also enjoyed your signature pineapple martinis! I had a pineapple drink as well, something off the mock tail menu. Which was delicious! Thanks for the great night out. We also shared Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls which were to die for! Little spicy but I loved them! I do have to add though, I only have two complaints. The pineapple agua Fresca drink was a bit too lime forward for me. It was really sour. I enjoyed it regardless but it says on the menu that it’s blended with charred pineapple and I was expecting to get more of that flavor. But like I said I enjoyed it regardless. My main complaint though is that I believe Firebirds needs to try to make their booths a little larger. Or at least make it so the table can move. My partner and I are on the bigger side and so the table was jabbing us in the ribs the entire time. I didn’t want to be bothersome so I didn’t ask for another table but it was uncomfortable. The table was bolted to the wall so it didn’t move. If it had moved I would’ve felt better. Regardless I enjoyed my experience and I’ll definitely be back again. Next time I’ll sit at a table!
We have been here twice so far, once for dinner and one for happy hour and both times were outstanding! For dinner I ordered the filet mignon and they cooked it perfectly to my liking. Mashed potatoes were superb as well. We both really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant. The servers were friendly and professional. And the creme Brule was to die for! Fun cocktails, reasonably priced, and good wine selection. Happy hour: totally worth it! We tried the tuna tacos and will totally get them again! SOO GOOD! A happy-hour specialty drink, a pineapple Martini, completely lived up to my hopes, and for a great price. All-in-all, a great experience, we will be back again soon.
Unfortunately, we had not made reservations, but we were given a friendly welcome and told we could sit at the bar or Hightop-tables. We had excellent service and absolutely delicious surf and turf!
I like this steakhouse because their non-steak options are good too! My family likes to do celebratory dinners here, but I can always rely on the impossible burger or pasta as a non-steak eater. Service was slow but it’s definitely due to being understaffed, because our service was fantastic just busy! Looking forward to coming back
I ordered the fish tacos, both grilled and blackened, along with a baked potato. I specifically requested a lot of butter—emphasizing that I wanted butter and more butter! When my potato arrived, it had just two small dollops of butter. I promptly asked for extra, and while the server brought me one more dollop, I had to request additional butter again before my potato became cold. In total, I received just three dollops of butter, which was nowhere near enough (I didn’t want any cheese, sour cream, or bacon—just pure butter). If there had been sufficient butter, this would have definitely been a 5-star visit. I sincerely wish I could give this place 5 stars... but alas, c'est la vie!
