Came here for lunch with my son and ordered what he called the wheel . It is one of their bento-type family meals. It cones with soup and salad, lemon chicken, tempura, sukiyaki beef, CA roll and potstickers. The food tasted fresh and was really good and huge serving that was more than enough for 3-4 people. What Joel S doesn't like about Bluefin:
I ordered the cherry blossom roll and was disappointed to find that it had small, thin slices of tuna. I felt like I didn't get my money's worth, as the portion was very small. As a sushi enthusiast, I was unimpressed with the quality of this roll. I was expecting more substantial ingredients. View all feedback.
My family and I liked this restaurant, but they have about the terrible customer service now, especially from their new manager johnbosco. despite not really attentive service during our time, we could understand that they were possibly understated during a busy time, but that is not the kicker. my 4 year old had a brand new mermaid doll with her that we had just got for her. she left it on the table and we only knew it 30 minutes later. we called back and asked about the one in which we said they couldn't find it, lost and found. my man went in and we found the truth that there is no loss and found (which was allegedly checked) and that the bus boy threw it into the müll. instead of simply putting it aside, considering that it is a new toy for a child, for an hour or so they decide to throw it away. if I ask to speak to the manager instead of being understanding or apologetics, he tells me that you can go in our müll seriously! that were his exact words. he would have chosen to be friendly and important, but instead he told me to dig in the müll and that he does not have to be apological that our child left his toy. I explained, yes it is not your fault that our daughter has left her toy, but for the customer service you don't tell anyone hospiting in your garbage. then he yelled at me and said I couldn't talk to him, so I can't threaten him, he's literally out of his mind! this is the worst service and the answer you could ever give to a guest. you do not say that to a gest! They and their whole facility are now as disgusting as their toilets and the smell that radiates from them and they know it. johnbasco. you are shameful!
It was horrible. They made our sushi rolls wrong and made it with ingredients that weren’t even on the menu under the sushi rolls we got. Then they still made us pay for it after our order was wrong and it was drenched in cheese and mayo sauce. Don’t go there.
I ordered the Heaven roll to go and it was amazing!!!! ??
Very friendly great food! Fishes are also very fresh!
I used to come to this restaurant when I first moved to Brentwood many years ago. Back then, it was expensive but tasty and worth the price. I went back last week and it was the most horrendous sushi experience I’ve ever had. It took 55 minutes for us to get our food. It would have been courteous of the staff to let us know there would be a wait. (Which I heard them tell people after we had already been sitting there for 30 minutes) The food didn’t taste great. Nothing impressed me. Very bland. My CA rolls had hardly any avocado. The table felt sticky and smelled like an old dish rag. When I went to the ladies restroom to wash my hands I was taken back by the smell of sewage. I literally gagged. My only explanation is that the sewer pipe must’ve burst under the restroom. The seats in the booth were so uncomfortable. Our waitress never checked on us and our drinks were empty the entire time. So long story short, I was overcharged for subpar service and basic food. I’m surprised I stayed and ate there. I will not be going back.
