Guests have enjoyed various dishes like steak and burgers, complemented by a good selection of drinks and indulgent desserts. However, inconsistencies have emerged, with some patrons disappointed by missing items, undercooked meals, and unexpectedly high bills. The patio's plastic cover and smoking policy have also detracted from the experience. Despite these issues, the staff's friendliness and willingness to accommodate guests often shine through, making The Island a potential favorite for locals despite some reservations about the food quality and pricing.
A monday deal on the website the island had me and my business partner did it for a few steaks and a bottle house red for the prinzessin sum of terrific, I thought myself; many restaurants in and around kensal had managed to rob me blind and I was looking forward to a carnivorous joy for a very good price. I expect a lot from a bottle. it didn't attack at all. I had not expected a sainte marguerite, but for this money, the familiar, summer sky and long, lingering dry surface were only absent. For the food then. I was for a steak hankering and so ordered the nativity steak with estragonbutter, chips and salat and the pork chop for zina with green, crushed kartoffels with an apfel and apfelwein jus. I am very pleased to report that both were very good. the big steak was very rare, the chips pleasantly crisp and the salat, if not a little middle part wise, was fresh and well dressed. My Biz partner thought the whole plate was a joy to eat, apart from the green ones that were just a little too subdonesian. the jus brought everything together as often as a disappointment in my experience. I must also add that the personal professional, cheerful and very apologetic for the misinformation about the web. a main piece and a very mediocre bottle wein came to a beats included service. I'm sorry, but I'm expecting a superior wein and prizes that don't show up the eye. I know that renting and overheads are high, but I'm afraid I couldn't justify the bill at all, and that was unanimous in terms of the internet they should pay for the deal without doubt. As is my start in these days, I have lighter from bag and heavier from heart.

A friend and I visited the island yesterday afternoon. first drink and eat something overpriced, but that wasn't the problem. we ordered something to eat and 1.5 hours later we didn't have it yet. the bar staff did not look out or even vage apologetic and did not hurry to sort out the problem. no great service. while I waited at the bar to find out what happened to our dinner, I heard a customer who complained that she was overloaded by 3 drinks she had not. at the end we asked for a refund and went.
