Had asked to book a room on behalf of my family and was refused because they wanted the invoice on the company name to be able to pay with the company credit card. The real reason? Because they come from Romania, which is a foreign country. They said they might accept if we pay in advance, because the owner found it fishy that people from there might come to Switzerland for holidays, or something… Finally, they canceled our reservation because only Swiss people come to this hotel. Such an awful attitude, I’ve never experienced this in my 10 years as an expat and 5 years since I’m in Switzerland. Sad!
