UPDATE: Mobius has permanently closed. I call Mobius my second office . It is where I go to meet clients, get a great smoothie and soak up the casual atmosphere. The mornings are best. In the evenings Mobius features live music and karaoke. The outside deck or seating area is a recent addition that looks great. The staff was friendly, and they hired a new Chef that comes highly recommended. Take a moment out of your... View all feedback.
What Emily Pirie doesn't like about Mobius Coffeehouse Pizza Connection:
I only go to this place to study now. I find it a great environment for studying. It is pretty quiet if you go during the day, just chit chat going on around. (I have a high noise level tolerance though). The reason I say I only go to study is because the food is all overpriced and only ok. I have never had a baked good that was even decent there, so don't bother buying their cookies or muffins or anything. I order a... View all feedback.

Awesome service; great atmosphere; great pizza, coffee, and cinnamon rolls.
Not sure what happened to Mobius tonight. First let me say the positive. SUPER FRIENDLY owners and pizza chef. We’ve eaten here MANY times on our regular road trip to and from Houston for a few years. Yummy smoothies. Delicious pizza. Live music. The 3 stars are for the friendly owners and chef. Zero stars for our pizza tonight. Typically we call ahead and place our pizza order on the road so it’s ready upon arrival. We placed our DEEP DISH medium margarita pizza to be ready at 7pm. Today did not disappoint. Ready upon arrival. We arrived and something was burning... eye-burning smoke FILLED the place (hope that wasn’t my pizza . We get our pizza, paid, and proceed to eat in the car. First, it was NOT deep dish. Ok, no worries. Mistakes happen. Couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into the margarita pizza. Um, what is all this BROWN paste (we think GARLIC paste?? .... soooooo much of this brown paste. And the dough was undercooked. The pizza was wet, like slimy wet, greasy, brown paste goo. I’ve never had that paste on ANY margarita pizza at any restaurant,, and it was different from any margarita pizza we’ve had here. I saw a DEEP DISH margarita pizza come out of the oven while I was talking to the lady about our weird soggy mess. It looked perfectly delicious and from across the counter, I didn’t see and brown paste. Puffy lightly browned dough, beautifully placed tomatoes, etc. Let’s just say from the literally 2 bites we had, our entire car smells like garlic. We will not have any issues with vampires for days. They happily refunded us so no complaints there. Now to get rid of the stinky garlic taste that has invaded our bodies.
I loveworking here and the food is amazing. Must have pizza! Live music on fridays.
We just left Mobius Coffeehouse. The experience did not live up to the glowing Yelp reviews we read that led us to choose the restaurant in the first place. We had intended to only get coffee on this visit. However once we walked in and smelled the aroma of the pizza that was cooking we decided we would try Pizza. It just smelled that good. We ordered a small 4 Slice Margarita thin crust pizza. I also ordered a large 20 oz mocha iced coffee at this time. When ordering the pizza we inquired as to how long it would take to get the pizza. We were told 15 minutes. That was an acceptable time for us as we live out of town and we were driving home afterward and we have dogs that we need to get home to. There are two rooms to the restaurant one located in the back and one in the front. The front is where they cook, take your order, and is the main entrance. We tried to sit in the back room but the whole room was reserved. It appeared as though there would be a band playing in that room later that night. We sat in the front room and I started drinking my coffee. As to the coffee it was good. Not outstanding, just a normal iced coffee. As we continued to wait for our pizza it continued to get hotter and hotter in the room. Many factors contributed to this, one being the closeness of the table to the door. However there was no other alternative, tables from the room we were sitting in were quickly being snatched up and moved to the back room that was reserved. We began to wonder where our pizza was after 40 minutes and I went and to ask. The pizza had not been prepared nor had it been put in the oven yet. I was told it would be prepared in about 15 minutes and after that it would take 6 minutes to cook. I waited about 5 minutes and decided I would just get a refund and leave. The heat was too much and honestly I did not have the time to wait. I went to the counter where there was a line to order, I went to the side and asked the additional clerk for a refund. She then had to ask the main cashier for the refund. The main cashier said okay and continued to take orders from the people in line while I waited for a refund. After waiting four minutes yes I did time it because by now I was just a little bit upset I was told by a waiter my pizza would be going in in 5 minutes did I just not want to wait until it was done. I told him no I did not want to wait I wanted a refund. While continuing to wait while the others were having their orders taken again I was asked by the second cashier did I just want to wait they were now putting my pizza in the oven and it would be ready in 6 minutes. I told them no I did not want to wait I wanted my refund and could not believe I was having to stand there while the other people's orders were still being taken. I was finally able to get my refund. I'm not able to give you a review on the pizza unfortunately because we never got it. I would be hesitant in going to this restaurant unless you have plenty of time to cool your heels or should I say sweat your heels while you're waiting for them to do whatever it is they're doing in the kitchen while you're waiting to eat. We did notice they only have two pizza ovens. Perhaps that could be contributing to the slow kitchen issues. Beware of the sign that says it takes 30 minutes for the deep dish pizza because there may be no telling how long you have to wait for a deep dish since we had to wait more than 40 minutes for the thin crust and we never even got it. I really hate to leave negative reviews for independent businesses and especially independent coffee houses however this was just one bad experience that I can't overlook. As for the building there is cute artwork and the setup seems to be well laid out. There seems to be a variety of drinks and treats in a case next to the cash stand and there is live music in the back room. I would say visit at your own risk.
