K-bob's Steakhouse - Brenham

Looking back to 2018, this chain proved to be a solid choice for a steakhouse. We particularly appreciate the low-sodium steak meal they offer, making it a perfect option for those watching their sodium intake while still wanting to enjoy a night out. Our go-to order is the Victoria's filet paired with double broccoli.

The food was decent overall, but I specifically ordered my steak medium, and it arrived well done. The loaded potatoes were quite tasty, and the salad was fresh. However, the ranch dressing seemed watered down, likely to stretch it a bit further.

I ordered the chicken fried steak with the gravy on the side. If the steak doesn’t need gravy to be flavorful, then why serve it? However, it came with gravy on it, so I requested it be removed. It didn’t take long—only about 2-3 minutes—for my food to come back. It was delicious! I even got to share my gravy with my friend. The squash casserole was tasty as well. You should definitely come here if you’re looking for good food!

This is a wonderful place to enjoy lunch or dinner. It serves the second best chicken fried steak in Texas, my wife's recipe is the only one that's better. Really enjoyed the visit to K-Bob's Steakhouse every time we visit the area. I was surprised thatthere was no pea salad this time at the salad bar, though. Its absence meant that we did not include the salad bar this visit.Always great service, food and people here!
