Hartz Chicken Buffet - Brenham

Enjoy the buffet each time we come in town, always good!

Their Fried Chicken is always great. My only Issues are eating too much and forgetting to let it cool (usually too hot out of the grease). Rolls and sides are good too! Just wish they had their French fries on the buffet! Vegetarian options: It’s a fried chicken buffet ?. You want vegetarian options I guess you have a few choices.

I was coming back from Houston and was looking for a place to eat, and didn't want to wait another hour until we hit Austin, so this place was definitely a nice find. Seriously, a chicken buffet? How much food could they offer? I laughed at first but when I stopped by, it was a place I needed to try. They have rotisserie chicken, fried chicken, chicken tenders, fried liver, fried catfish, and some spicy chicken. They have a full salad bar. They also have a plethora of side dishes and deserts like mash and gravy, Mac Cheese, dirty rice, puffy bread rolls, banana pudding, peach cobbler, collard greens, and a bunch of other stuffs. They also have soft serve ice cream. The fried chicken was really good, it reminded me of Jollibee fried chicken, I'm NOT kidding. The chicken tenders reminded me of Popeyes tenders. The rotisserie chicken was good and fall off the bone tender. The fried catfish was a little too fishy for me, but I can see other folks really liked it. There were so many good sides, which help to offset all the chicken one plans to eat : You get all this food for less than $15, and the chicken is the tasty main attraction, that's a steal in my book! You would pay double for all this at any other Fast Food joint. For value and what you pay, I would definitely recommend coming here if you need a solid meal between Houston Austin, or just want to give this hidden Gem a try.

Was on my way to work and picked up a 2 piece combo I almost called in because that buffet was looking good they need a drive thru so I don’t have to go inside and walk past it lol.
