We are guests of the hotel at least once a year and would love to come back!

In combination with a hotel stay, we also came to the restaurant for a 3-course meal. Right at the beginning there was a small appetizer, salmon tartare and a welcome drink. Very convincing in terms of taste, the salmon must have been very fresh. As a starter there was tomato soup and some grain bread. I've never tasted such good tomato sauce. Every little part of the soup fit perfectly. As a main course you could choose: Cod, Oldenburg duck breast or potato roulade. We both chose the duck breast and that too, it was very good. The side dishes were perfectly coordinated, the sauce was lickable and the duck breast was perfectly prepared. Kudos again to the kitchen. For dessert there was a lovely mix of elderberry mint jelly, mint? mouse (I have to admit, I forgot), chocolate cake, cookie sponge, mango ice cream, cherry fresh mint. At the beginning I was skeptical about many of the components, but here too everything fit together more than well and we ate everything (except the mint leaf). The waitress's wine recommendation was spot on, and there was also high praise. We can't wait until we can dine at Wels next time.
