Zeche: 57,50 € General: The Kalymnos is a district Greek in the inconspicuous and culinary otherwise abandoned Grambke. The homepage [here link], unfortunately with annoying advertising and badly readable writing, there should be the Kalymnos for 15 years. may have chosen for the time of creation of the homepage. After our memory the Kalymnos was already in the nineties and the interior has been on the hump for several years. Kalymnos offers a reliable, tasty cuisine and is well visited according to our experience. The expectable audience: young and older couples, families, small groups. After some prices have been increased, I see the price performance ratio in cross-comparison still at 3.75 stars After several Greek critiques in Bremen, I decided to form a ranking. It is based on RK reviews with the five star cala. Here it is weighted with my evaluation intermediate stages, food twice, PLV simply, with the same number of points a rank is awarded several times : 1. Orpheas, Burg Grambke: 4,17 2. Kalymnos, Burg Grambke: 3,91 3. Meos, Lehesterdeich: 3,83 3. Poseidon, Gröpelingen: 3,83 3. Symposio, Neustadt: 3,83 4. Katerini, ferry Lobbendorf: 3,67 5. Olympia, Grohn: 3,58 6. Ifestos, Ferry Lobbendorf: 3.5 6. Irodion, Ferry Lobbendorf, 3.5 7. Parthenon II, Gröpelingen, 3,33 7. Artemis, Lüssum Bockhorn: 3.33 8. Poseidon Blumenthal 3,33 9. Sparta, Lesum: 3.25 9. Taverna Saloniki, Neustadt: 3,25 10. Akropolis, ferry Lobbendorf: 3,17 11. Kiriaki, Lesum: 3 11. Crete, OHZ: 3 11. Athos, Schwanewede: 3 Service: Behind the counter a young woman and at the tables of the host and a younger man. We experienced a fleeting and friendly service. The host had the dispenser pants and so there were three Ouzo on his bill. My obvious photographs certainly made him curious, but he didn't think of what kind of food I was going to eat. So a four-star performance, as always in Kalymnos. The beverage prices go to the upper third: 0.3 l Bremer Group Pils €2.60, Greek mineral water €0.00, the simple land wines from the two-liter bottle come for the quarter to €4.50. Food: The map is available on the homepage and offers a usual selection of cold and hot appetizers, grilled, some baked grilled dishes and some lamb dishes from the oven. Unfortunately no Taramas, but red beet salad with garlic panzari as the only special feature to me. In the grill department we missed the lamb fillet we appreciated. We chose classic gigantes 5,50 € , Ktipiti 5,00 € and Pepperonis from the grill with garlic 4,50 € . There's a basket with white turquoise bread. The appetizers all seasoned well. The Ktipiti with good sheep cheese, but for me somewhat extended and only with mild sharpness finely chopped green Pepperoni. The gigantes, tomato oily with herbs and the right cooking condition are outstanding and recommended. Then the souvlaki in the original Greek style with Pommes and Tsatsiki €13.00 . And stuffed souvlak saucers with Pommes and Tsatsiki €13.00 . We chose the herb salad served with carrots. A classic herb salad, as we like it in Greek and prefer every leaf salad with industrial dressing. The Tsatsiki garnish and based on full-fat square, so for me its cucumber and dill may come along, but this is the basis. As can be seen in the photo, the meat is cube-cut, well spiced and just grilled. My pigs were filled with sheep cheese and tomato. The meat is cut very thin, also well seasoned and grilled. It can't be juicy, but with the spicy sheep cheese filling, which after cutting acted like a cheese sauce, it can be eaten well. So the food, as usual in Kalymnos, is again very tasty and worth its four stars. The portion sizes with the herb salad appropriate. A small salt and pepper mill was brought to our desire. Ambience: The Kalymnos is not a blue white or niche Greek. The decoration keeps within limits. The restaurant extends to the left and right of the entrance in an open space. Blank dark wooden tables and chairs are on a likewise dark needle felt floor. The place is sufficiently dimensioned on the tables and in between. A hort of cosiness is not the Kalymnos. In summer you can sit on a spacious and well shielded terrace in front of the restaurant. The toilets have come in the years and could renovate. Especially the tiles on the men's toilet with many dowel holes and small damage are unsightly. Cleanliness: There is nothing to complain about here.
