What User dislikes about Am Rhein:
I had the sausages and my man had the carving. it was all in order, but not stunning. the child menu was called pokemon, but had nothing to do with pokemon, which was a pity. service without a smile. W View all feedback.

We have eaten in the frame of a hiking tour in this great German restaurant at lunchtime. eating was well prepared and how many German restaurants it was more than abundant. in fact, the portions were overwhelming. the location of the restaurant on the Rhine was very good, but from the inside where we sat, you could not see the river.

During our last two-week stay in colmar we were overdowed by the Alsatian courts and dared several times over the border to Germany to enjoy a good, defensive cost. we wanted to eat with a look at the Rhine and decided to klasles. we enjoyed our first lunch so much that we returned some days later for another, our only refreshment restaurant of the holiday. klasles has a very nice terrace with great views of the Rhine and passing loadkähne and boats. We found that the menu had a good choice and reasonable prices given the location. we found the quality of the meal also quite well and the portions were quite large. the restaurant opens at 11 a.m. to lunch and when we visited it on a Saturday and a Tuesday, the terrace was full at lunchtime, mainly with locals. as mentioned in other reviews, klasles has a very unavoidable and relaxed atmosphere and there is a beautiful small playground next to the terrace when they have children. we found the waiters pleasant, friendly and helpful when answering questions about the menu and the specials. at the first visit my wife had a beautiful champagne for 3,50 euro and I had the dark white beer (dunkles yeast) at the same price. for lunch my wife had a pork carving with pommes fries and mixed salat (mixed salat) and I had the lamb lobe (lammhaxe) with croquettes and green beans. the dishes cost approx. 15-16 euro. our two main dishes were very good. at our second visit my wife had a large mixed salad and I had the diner (daily menu) of a mixed grill. this came with thick slices of roast beef and calf with soned mixed vegetables and late zle, it also came with a delicious mushroom cream soup and a lemon baiser pudding dessert. although the meat was good through and I prefer it a little less cooked, it was very tasty and delicate. my only complain is that the vegetables were either boiled or not fresh, in contrast to my fresh and delicious green beans at the first visit. the salate of my wife was very big and cost approx. 9 euro. imagine my surprise when we got the bill and learned that my daily special lunch was only 9 cost number of seafood on a large salad. if they are close to breisach on the Rhine and are looking for a pleasant and tasty eating at a reasonable price, they should consider klasles in consideration!

Excellent service. although it was full at my visit, the service was impressively fast. it was a good value for money and eating was good. when my six-year-old fell in the play area, they quickly brought a pavement. I'm coming back
