Bechtel Cafe-Restaurant

We went with a party and visited Breisach on the way to Colmar. The city is actually small, but picturesque and interesting. We had to eat lunch because it was 3PM before we reached Colmar. One of the members of our party insulted our waitress inside, she came very angry and needed to go. We sat outside, weren't aware. She took our order, we had 50 minutes to eat before the bus would go. After 45 min, all who sat with us had received their food and were in the end; we were still served nothing but drinks. We left money on the table to cover what we had ordered, then started leaving with 5 minutes to reach the bus. Our waitress appeared for the first time since serving our drinks, magically appeared and was angry that we had gone. I told her we had only 50 minutes to spend with her and she couldn't serve us sandwiches in the time frame so we had no choice but to go. She said I should have told her if you had ever come back. We all think that she retaliated against us, for the faux pas that our companion has committed, but regardless of that they still have extremely bad service.

It should be a nice location if the place at the front would not be in construction. Nice service and good price vs quality. But cafe-like food and menu, not really a restaurant. Average to good then.

We were quite late for the lunch but Bechtel still seemed reasonably busy and they still had a small food menu available after normal lunch time. The salad with Turkey was large with a nice dressing (EUR 11,20), the Porc Schnitzel (EUR 13,70) was also well prepared. Drink prices (EUR 3,20 for a pint of alcohol free beer) were very reasonable as well. While I would not make a long de tour to eat here, I would gladly return if I'm passing by...

We were for lunch on a Monday in restaurant just beside of the Marktplatz . It took a while to order the drinks and food and took even longer until the food arrived... the menu was lasagne bolognese fresh and well prepared and on the other hand cheese spätzle , I personally had some really bad digestive problems after the Spätzle , don 't know why but it ended up with diarrhea :
