The rooms are a little dated, but clean and spacious! Warm and helpful welcome. Excellent location!
For the price paid, including breakfast, it seems good to me, cleanliness ok, attentive.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Carlone about a month ago, before mid-August. The hotel is from the '70s/ '80s, I 'd say, at least the interior and room decor give that impression. We liked the room; the bathroom was adequate, but the shower wasn 't the biggest. The best thing was finding the kitchen hidden away in a cabinet—a real gem and very convenient. The little balcony was lovely, very comfortable. One thing I really didn 't like was the carpeting everywhere. The spa area is a real gem; the Turkish bath and sauna are lovely. It 's a shame, though, that if you don 't book it, you sometimes end up with a lot of people inside. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with a wide variety of sweet and savory options. Parking is limited given the number of people who live in the hotel. It 's nice that it 's in a secluded village; the peace and quiet are very relaxing.
Friendly owners, very customer-oriented. We set off early for a mountain hike – we received a packed lunch without any hassle or extra cost; upon request, they even did our laundry. The location on the busy road took some getting used to, but we were out and about during the day anyway. The pool and sauna were clean and well-maintained; great value for money.
