Great spot for hot corn, beef sandwich, but not much more

I ordered a cobb salad with chicken. It was supposed to have romaine lettuce, cucumbers, broccoli, tomatoes, egg, bacon and cheese. My salad came with iceberg lettuce, NO bacon, 1 slice of egg, NO cheese, 3 small tomatoes, two slices of cucumber a huge hunk of broccoli and 3 small pieces of chicken. I immediately brought it to our waitresses attention. Her reply was Oh he must have forgot Really? He forgot to make the whole salad? The waitress brought me back a small cup of shredded cheddar cheese. No bacon. Who puts cheddar cheese on a cobb salad? To me, this was just a basic salad literally thrown together not a COBB salad. It came in a tortilla bowl with a blueberry muffin that was stale. The waitress could have cared less. My salad was $14.99! We walked up front to pay our bill along with others guests that were waiting. Finally, a young lady came out from the back and told all of us who were paying out bill to wait a minute while she wrapped up some cakes?? HUH? My first and LAST time going here! Sad because we live close and love to patron local businesses. It was clear, they didn 't want our business. The other patrons waiting to pay their bill di not have a great experience either. Your employees can make or break you. Very disappointed.

Yum! This place is delicious. I was craving bologna, and this place delivered. Such a good sandwich. Their pasta salad is delicious as well. But what really impressed me is the speed at which I was served. I sat down, ordered, excuses myself to use the restroom. I was gone for less than five minutes, and lo and behold my sandwich was waiting for me on the table.

Amazing matza ball soup and some of the BEST pastrami I have ever tasted. If you are in the area, Simon's is a MUST! You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been going here since 1976. Still going strong. What a great menu. Latkas and corned beef is an all time favorite. Don’t forget the onion rings. If you don’t save room, take a dessert home. Love the eclairs and carrot cake.
