Contribute FeedbackDespite being a loyal customer of Burntwood Tavern, the recent dining experience was disappointing. From long wait times to frozen food, overwhelmed staff, and unusual fumes, the overall experience left much to be desired. However, the Easter rush seemed to have overwhelmed the restaurant, resulting in cold food and coffee, and indifferent service. The restaurant has been facing staffing issues post-Covid, leading to long wait times and neglect of customer needs. On a positive note, the food quality and service were good, particularly appreciated by large groups. The manager's efforts were commendable, but noise levels and the lack of bread served were drawbacks. Yet, Sunday brunch proved to be a pleasant experience with great service and delicious food. Despite its ups and downs, Burntwood Tavern remains an option worth considering, particularly at quieter times for the best dining experience.
Had a party of 12 for a Sunday brunch. We did have reservations. The service was great. We had a quiet atmosphere which was nice to catch up with our out of town guests. The food and the coffee were wonderful, even some of the kids tried and liked the brunch items! I'd definitely go back for a nice brunch!
This is $7 worth of green beans. They also tasted burnt
Little pricey but a good stop before the show at Blossom. Service could not have been better
Salmon was incinerated. Beer was flat. Burgers were okay. Service was good. I won’t be going back.
Having only visited this restaurant when it was called The Spanish Tavern (1976) I was stunned at how different it is now, in the best possible way! We love the historical feeling of the restaurant itself, and the staff made us feel welcome to wander around the restaurant, because I 'm a history nut. The wait staff has been amazing all three times we have visited; possibly the most accommodating team that I 've ever seen. The food was better the first time I was here, but that could happen anywhere. Also, while wandering around, we noticed a very strong wet/musty odor in the lower bar level which will likely keep me from eating a meal down there. For me though, the history of the building (worth a look-up before you visit) and the very historical ambience is what I love the most. Oh, and did I mention the Ghost?!
