We came here as it was dog friendly and as we were staying at the Forest Holidays cabin wanted something nearby. Typical pub fair, large portions but an endless wait for the food. No one to take your order you have to go to the...bar for that. A nice friendly landlady who was welcoming. View all feedback.

read moreNestled in a picturesque village, this charming 17th-century coaching inn offers a warm, inviting atmosphere, perfect for both locals and visitors alike. Known for its friendly staff and excellent customer service, diners can enjoy a range of dishes, from homemade pizzas to hearty Sunday roasts, all boasting generous portions at reasonable prices. While some found certain menu items a bit hit or miss, the overall culinary experience, particularly the acclaimed cauliflower cheese and decadent desserts, earns high praise. With a lovely garden and a great selection of real ales, this pub is a delightful spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family.
