What Freddie the Fred doesn't like about Swallowtails:
Stayed at the hotel and booked dinner in the restaurant. HUGE disappointment. Game Terrine was dry and flavourless. Rump steak I ordered medium rate. Arrived cremated. Waitress took it away. Replacement arrived 10 minutes later also cremated. Menu said onion rings but received fried onions. Mandarin cheesecake and waitresses were the saving grace. Breakfasts were very good, well presented and well cooked with a very good choice on offer. The dinner menu choice was on the small side but dinners generally were excellent although something did go wrong with a starter. Prices were average for a hotel and the ambiance was a little lacking. View all feedback.
