Feedback
At this restaurant, experiences vary widely. While some patrons rave about the exceptional service and accommodating staff, particularly during special occasions like Christmas, others express disappointment over slow service, food quality, and limited menu options. Frequent complaints include overcooked vegetables, tough meats, and disorganized service, leading to frustrations such as long waits and incorrect orders. Despite the setbacks, there are bright spots, with some diners enjoying well-prepared dishes, like tender beef and crispy Yorkshire puddings. Overall, while a few guests leave satisfied, many indicate a need for significant improvements to attract them back.
The carvery was amazing, the beef was cooked beautifully and was tender, homemade Yorkshire puddings were crispy, lovely selection of veg, I personally love cauliflower cheese and was really cheesy which was nice, the server was very friendly, bar staff were quick with drinks considering it was quite busy, would definitely recommend.
Very dissapontied unfortunately No Beef or Lamb on offer and no apple sauce to go with the pork. The carvery we had Pork which was OK . Would we return not sure
Saturday evening so we expect it to be busy and it was which is ok but no bitter beer available at the bar and only pork available at the carvery must be down to bad planning by the management especially as all the tables were pre booked
Food was excellent and the pudding was amazing I understand it was a saturday and probably going to get busy but the service could have been better
Visited Christmas day, first ever Christmas eating out and can honestly say we wasn't disappointed. Spoke with staff and chef about my youngest having 4 allergies and the chef went out of his way to make sure there was a dessert for my daughter, for a gluten and dairy free dessert it wasted amazing! Staff on the day were happy and great to be served by, a fabulous meal all round food was amazing. Thank you to all and a merry Christmas to you
