Contribute FeedbackAt this restaurant, experiences vary widely. While some patrons rave about the exceptional service and accommodating staff, particularly during special occasions like Christmas, others express disappointment over slow service, food quality, and limited menu options. Frequent complaints include overcooked vegetables, tough meats, and disorganized service, leading to frustrations such as long waits and incorrect orders. Despite the setbacks, there are bright spots, with some diners enjoying well-prepared dishes, like tender beef and crispy Yorkshire puddings. Overall, while a few guests leave satisfied, many indicate a need for significant improvements to attract them back.
Good friendly service.Food not very good.prawn cocktail, 8 prawns in sauce, bit of lettuce and 3 bits cucumber, looked and tasted unappetising. Carvery, veg warm, potatoes hard, where they'd been out a while, 1 tiny slice beef, like boot leather, turkey ok, but so small slice. No lid on teapot so tea went cold. Won't be coming back
Very dissapontied unfortunately No Beef or Lamb on offer and no apple sauce to go with the pork. The carvery we had Pork which was OK . Would we return not sure
Saturday evening so we expect it to be busy and it was which is ok but no bitter beer available at the bar and only pork available at the carvery must be down to bad planning by the management especially as all the tables were pre booked
Food was excellent and the pudding was amazing I understand it was a saturday and probably going to get busy but the service could have been better
Will definitely be coming back here the desserts were amazing made by Stephen would recommend to Anyone
