I have eaten here since I was a little kid in the 50's! It's hard to find a cafe with the quality of food and nostalgia that Pam offers her customers!
Note: I left this scene wide to illustrate the footprint of Pam 's Cafe in Breckenridge. It offers a worthy excuse to the Interstate for a taste of Texas as it was once. I met Pam and Husband Bud. If you are familiar with Dr. Who, you will understand when I say that this place is like the Tardis, that it is bigger than outside and it transports you through time. My memories began in 1959 when Nail's Cafe was and have continued with Pam since 1983! You only have a few days before Pam and Bud retire at the end of April!
I visited a small café that offered an excellent breakfast at a very reasonable price. I enjoyed ham, hash browns, and egg toast, all of which were delicious!
This is a fantastic little spot! I had the Ham and Cheese omelet, which came packed with onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños, along with some toast and coffee. The owner mentioned she has been running this place for 35 years. I absolutely love it! - Danny Hubbard
