Been here a few times -food is a better than standard pub fare. Last time visited with family and the pick of the meals we had were probably the chicken pocket and the vegetable stack. But none of the five were at all poor. So ... worth a visit for a good feed. View all feedback.

Had a group booking with interstate family. The food came out in dribs and drabs. Most had finshed their meals before all were served and the meals can only be best describe as average. Not great value View all feedback.
I've got a lot of feelings about Southern Wild and they're all positive.
Very poor food that has been reheated from lunch. Inedible food. Was offered a free meal upon a refund but no thx. Went to an Indian restaurant up the road

Great meals, cheap price and even better on a Wednesday night when they do $10 meals. Its a quiet and friendly pub.
Enjoyed a delightful meal at The Meadows or Kings Bistro last night. Quality was far improved since last time and the vegetables were actually tasty and not overcooked. Size of meals was quite good also. Prices reasonable for this type of meal. Plenty of room in the dining room for quite a few people. Bar handy if required.
