Awesome! I absolutely loved the food, the service (Janet), and the atmosphere! Our server Janet was amazing! I ordered the quattro plate, baked rigatoni, and the fettuccine Alfredo. What Arin K doesn't like about Buca Di Beppo Italian:
It has been several years since we last went to Buca. I can see from this visit why they are going bankrupt. The quality of the food has fallen dramatically. It is very generic American style Italian without any hint of true Italian flavor, i.e. the herbs and spices are sparse and low grade. The tomatoes taste canned. The Italian sausage tastes stale. We had reservations but people without reservations or reservations after ours were being seated first
We were promptly seated and the restaurant was bustling with activity. Even though it was busy, our server was very friendly, as were the other staff members bringing out the food.
The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service! Our waitress was exceptional and added a lot of joy to our dining experience.
We had a reservation for 6:00, but arrived 10 minutes early with all five people in our group present. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the hostess informed us that we had to wait until 6 to be seated. Another group of five, who did not have a reservation, arrived after us and were seated immediately. It was frustrating to see non-reservation parties being seated before us, even though we had made a reservation.
Service was excellent! Food was good. Will be back!
