We enjoyed delicious wine and a tasty chocolate nutcake topped with orange olive oil. The owner was friendly and engaging, and it was a pleasure talking to her. To top it off, she even gave us a delicious orange cake for free. This was definitely the highlight of our time in Smartno!

A highlight of the tasting was a delicious chocolate cake drizzled with orange-flavored olive oil - worth a visit just for that!

This charming establishment is run by a friendly mother and... read more The Oljčni Bar (Olive Oil Bar) and Bar Pr'naad are located in the House of Cultures (Hiša Cultura). This charming establishment is run by a friendly mother and daughter team. Guests can enjoy a delicious lunch (12-3pm), sample olive oil (10am-3pm), and attend various events held there. We had a fantastic lunch on a Tuesday, when many other restaurants in Smartno are closed. Instead of the traditional yellow polenta, they served a delicious homemade white polenta. For dessert, we indulged in delectable homemade chocolate cake with orange and olive oil, as well as a mouthwatering ricotta cheesecake.

They had latte macchiato in their menu but the lady kept pushing us to buy espresso. Later she brought us espresso anyway with a small portion of milk. The whole experience was terrible.
