I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The manager (Pol? Paul? was extraordinary and made the evening so pleasant. The food was exceptional, the value for money was very, very good (far exceeding my expectations and myself and my partner left with the intention to absolutely return there again soon. What User doesn't like about Nua Thai:
We were initially seated at a table that had an unpleasant smell, possibly from a blocked drain. The second table was better, but the experience didn’t improve much overall. The restaurant has closed down. I recommend checking into this further.
The young server was very friendly, but it took over an hour for the food to arrive, and it was of poor quality.
We initially sat at a table that had a unpleasant sewage smell, possibly due to a blocked pipe. The second table was better, but still not ideal. The red wine was served cold, as if it had been kept in a fridge. There was a complete lack of atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, but sadly, we won’t be coming back. It looks like they do quite well with their takeout orders, though.
Starter was not nice. Waited 25 mins to get glass wine.
The restaurant has closed down. I recommend that they reevaluate their operations.
