friendly service eating is very tasty, what we can feel, as a prespeisse that is bruschetta, garlic bread and feta in alufollie, as a main dish lammfilett with kartoffel zaziki, and rumsteak with rostzwiebeln . we like to come back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Zum Steinofen:
De har et sindssygt stort menukort, som er ret forvirrende at orientere sig i, da rigtigt mange af retterne minder om hinanden.Maden kom hurtigt, men var lunken. Tomatsuppen kom to minutter efter den var bestilt og var tydeligtvis varmet i microbølgeovn. Der var en klat dåseflødeskum oveni.Uddateret indretning og upersonlig betjening.Selv øllen og flaske andet var en fesen oplevelse.Ville ikke anbefale det til nogen. View all feedback.
Nothing special about eating, but the service was friendly enough. mostly Greek dishes
Very lively place, and difficult without reservation, but, at the rande of the moment in which we have come. the service was cured, but the pizza came fast and its cheese bomb. far too much cheese, didn't taste like mozzarella more like. congratulate cheap pizza cheese, crust with a soda flavor. my son who loves pizza couldn't eat it.
First, the restaurant is something between Greek restaurant and German restaurant, but with pizza is without personality. they have a really big menu and therefore we order something simple to eat and we have made the right choice. because some other tables return their dishes. the place is also old-fashioned and dark. also it is not possible to pay with the card because the machine was out of order I was two only for the waiter, a really nice young man. sure they have much more good choices to brown.
A rather unconventional restaurant that shares the kitchen and menu covers with neighboring mykonos. that probably explains also the pictures on the wall (many sea views, shops.) we have arrived and were asked to come back in minutes as all the tables were taken. Except. two large, who were reserved fortunately offered some of the guests their table as they had already finished and paid. the menu is extensive, but literally everything seems to be prepared in the stone oven, even pasta. the mixed salate we ordered was not entirely after the description, some ingredients were replaced without notice. the two most important courses we have ordered were cut at the same time, but with a few minutes in between. all in all, the treatment can be expected. Nevertheless we had fun and enjoyed our trout and omelette. oh, and the reserved tables were not used.
We visited here on our first evening in Braunlage. We were looking for a hearty German meal and we were not disappointed. The food was good and plentiful and the service fast and friendly. The price was reasonable as well.
