even if the restaurant is inconspicuous from the outside and the interior on the first look somewhat old baked seems worth visiting in this restaurant in any case. the food was very delicious and freshly prepared. The cordiality of the service should be mentioned in particular. my son had coughed at our visit, and after our food order she brought him a freshly brewed ing worth. great very rustic local; for those who... What Ellen Pfeifer doesn't like about Bergquell:
Not difficult to select fro mmore or less typical German dishes (way too many Schnitzels on their menu). But the price and quality was well balanced. Pretty small interior with a bit to the seventies reminding interior decorations but not obnoxious. View all feedback.
After some months our trip leads once again to brownlage into the mountain quell of family - today with 4 people. Before are quality and service top. Small, fine kitchen with freshest ingredients.Today I follow the recommendation of woman stretches and test a cordon Bleu filled with sour wort, sink and cheese.Wow - rustic and very tasty. carefully baked out in a small size, the cordon bleu hot came to the table - together with the dressed for my wife and friends. **** ham - just try. always a perfect rounding. The lunch should be left out, because the portions are very saturating .... and 3 passages then not every one!we will come back soon and can recommend the mountainous to every resin traveling sincerely. as a faithful and very satisfied guest (about 10 visits this year) I cannot understand the negative commentary. In particular if a gast is done for 1 hour in the next room office work on the pc and nothing eats - only the companion is an salat. and then the always very friendly owner is considered impossible - very, very unsportable!!!
The restaurant zum bergquell is a very small restaurant - not larger than a living room. although we had not reserved we got the last free table - book would probably be a good idea. the service was very friendly. only manko - eating has taken a long time. as we were on the way with a small child, the waiting time was particularly difficult to bridge. the food itself was lovingly dressed and to the serviette dumpling also very tasty and plentiful. is definitely worth visiting.
Meanwhile the mountain quell has a new owner( gottseidank!) we had made a visit shortly before closing the old owner and the rest had to leave. all sponge in old fat my fish was so old the bratkartoffeln haette you can wrestle out. the food went after a bite to the back. the help it took to know the chefin demanded the full price! of 6 people spent 5 the night on the klo! the tiny little restaurant has the style of 1920, so I haven't seen yet, lacquered ceilings say everything and is anxious is also pre-programmed. I'm wondering how they could last so long!
Good eating traditional eating in a cozy local atmosphere. the hostess was sweet and welcoming - all in all a really good dinner
You can eat well, tastefully also ok, portion also ok, but if you stretch a ragout with kartoffel pieces, forget the announced mushrooms, and the chefin does not dare critique, I don't have to go back.
